Joanna Cent, MA

Graduate in sociology at Jagiellonian University, Ph.D. candidate in Department of Economy, Education and Research Methods, Jagiellonian University. Works for several research project concerning biodiversity policies and ecological education in Institute of Environmental Sciences, Jagiellonian University. Teaches classes on qualitative research, qualitative data analysis and desk study. Research interests focuses within environmental sociology, particularly on the importance of protected areas for development of local societies, ecological conflicts, the role of NGOs in conservation, environmental policies of European Union and its implementation in member states. In winter time practice and promote telemark skiing in Poland.
