Note

The Rector can change the dates of the examination periods, as put forward by a dean of a faculty and approved by the Student Government Faculty Council, provided that the whole curriculum of a given programme is fulfilled.

For a valid reason, a dean of a faculty can cancel some or all lectures and classes on other days.

The deans are responsible for ensuring that all the lectures and classes present in the curriculum take place. The e-learning methods and techniques may also be used to achieve that goal. The use of such methods and techniques is regulated by separate rules.

The period from September 16 to 30, 2012 is the time devoted to closing the academic year 2011/2012 and starting the academic year 2012/2013.

The details concerning the organization of the academic year in the medical College are subject to the decision of the JU Vice-rector for the medical College.

The details concerning the organization of the academic year for the part-time study programmes at a given faculty are subject to the decision of the dean, which is made according to the plans and curricula of the programmes.

From 30 September 2011, the Rector's ordinance number 19 about the academic calendar 2010/11 is no longer in force.

The ordinance comes into effect on 1 October 2011.
