Equipment: Olympus IX71 inverted microscope with relief contrast and epifluorescence coupled with a digital camera and computer with and analySIS image analysis system, Nikon Eclipse 80i microscope with a contrast phase, interference and epifluorescence, coupled with a digital camera and computer with LUCIA image analysis system.

Available laboratory services: comprehensive examination of micro-organisms, protozoans and microscopic-size objects, photographic and video-footage documentation, and taking various measurements.

Equipment: Olympus inverted microscope IMT-2 with Nomarski contrast and MULTISCAN image-analysis computer system, three SANYO climatic chambers with independent control of light and temperature regimes.

Available laboratory services: conducting in-vivo observations on dishes and plates for tissue cultures, photographic and video-footage documentation, and various measurements using image-analysis system, culturing cyanobacteria, algae, and protozoans.

Equipment: stereoscopic microscopes: Olympus SZX-7, Olympus SZ-40, microscope Nikon YS-100 coupled with a digital camera and computer furnished with LUCIA image analysis software, Helios UV-VIS photometer, field photometer, field Hanna conductometer, Hanna oxygen probe, fume cupboard, Nederman fume extractors.

Available laboratory services: sorting and determinations of aquatic macro-fauna samples, identifying various invertebrate taxa of the macro-benthos of inland waters, photographic and video-footage documentation and taking various measurements of aquatic organisms; basic analyses of chemical composition of waters.
